SHIFTING PERSPECTIVES: INTERDISCIPLINARY CLIMATE ACTION + GARBAGE CLEAN UP

SLS Eventbrite (for website) (1).png

I-ABS stands for Interdisciplinary Action Based Sustainability, and it’s the theme of the conference this year (surprisingly, not a workout). This interactive session, inspired by the book: A Field Guide to Climate Anxiety, aims to reframe how we think & talk about climate change. You don’t need to be doing "environmental" work to be helping. Climate change is a systems challenge, closely intertwined with social justice, economics, equity, and politics. We’ll talk about finding fulfilment in this (often less-quantifiable) work, and how you (!!) can have more influence than you think. The workshop will be followed by a (remote) neighbourhood garbage clean up scavenger hunt with PRIZES!!

This session will be run by the (two), the only Jo^2 :D
